Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best trust to avoid estate tax?

There is no single “best” trust for every family. Common estate tax strategies may involve irrevocable trusts, spousal lifetime access trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable trusts, or grantor retained annuity trusts. The right structure depends on your asset mix, family goals, tax exposure, liquidity needs, and state laws. Barking Sands Capital coordinates with legal and tax professionals so trust planning supports your broader financial picture.
